Anonymous asked: How do u think we got on earth?

embrace-your-earth answered: I believe our souls travel here but are not born here. We manifest as a physical being with a physical body which holds our souls light. It is a vessel for our souls expression in this physical plain of existence.

Consciousness shows me the true form of my soul shinning within me. We are just reflections of the rest of the universe. We come to awareness that we are the universe just experiencing itself in human form.

The human race is an evolution created by the universe and we are able to observe and feel connected to what else is out there. Soul connects us all to each other always. Nothing is separate, all bouncing off each other and moving through this space we call time.

It is your souls choice to come to earth and experience this life form. But I don’t believe it is our true origin, at least not mine. I believe I am here to shine my light on others to help change this world back to the beautiful paradise it once was before the human race evolved to believe they are separate from the earth. That humans are the ultimate species.

I believe me and a whole mass of light beings are here to spread the word of nature, connection, compassion, truth and ultimately Love. To bring consciousness back as a whole so we can move forward through existence in this vast Universe 🙂

chevko: I am saying it.

I am saying it, here, now.

I want to… forgive.

I want to let go and move on and begin growing again.

I feel slightly caged now because of how much I didn’t want to. (Or is that the sports bra?)

It is time to move on, it has been… what, 8 years now? Something like that. It’s time to forgive and move on.

The pain has dulled substantially for me to want to move on past the grudge I have.

But how do I?

ragabashwitch: Rose quartz will be good for love, and with a focus on self love that can help.

Personally, this sounds like you could try some tarot magic. I would pull out the death card. Sit and meditate on it for awhile. Thinking about letting all the pain die. Think about all the new coming in. For new things to begin something must die.

Then I’d pull out a match. I’d focus all my past regrets, problems, grudges, etc on the tip of that match. If I couldn’t get it all out, I’d carry that match with me… and every time I needed to focus it somewhere, focus on that match tip. Keep doing that till you have everything you need to get rid of in that match.

Then light that motherfucker and let it all burn out of you. Let the match burn itself out. And feel that flame burning it out of you too. Once you get out all that is holding you back, then you can start filling that space with love.

Focus on your heart chakra. You probably have a blockage there, if you’re holding onto regret, grudges, pain, loss, etc. Focus on how much you need to let in and how much you want to give back. To get love, we need to give love. Meditate on your heart. Wear green. Eat green. Surround yourself with healing green light.

Anonymous asked: What do you suggest needs to be in a book of shadows?? Especially for starting one

swampseer answered: I use my book/book for spells, recipes, whatever concoctions, important crochet patterns, how to’s, important interactions, dates, all sorts of stuff. The only thing I suggest everyone have is a correspondence table to whatever you use in your practice. It could be colors, herbs, moon phases, all of those or just whatever  fits with your practice.

Books are very individual things, friend! I do suggest that you keep a table of contents towards the front, though!

werrya asked: How do you contact a particular spirit? I’d like to get into spirit work by contacting either of my grandparents, but going to their old house is impossible and going to their grave would be tricky. It just seems safer to start by talking to someone who knows you, though.

windvexer answered: Find a photograph of them. Build a little ancestral altar with a scent spirits traditionally like (IIRC, lavender and sandalwood are a good mix) and a scent you know your grandparents liked, if you can find one. Put the photograph on the altar, as well as a clean glass of fresh water. Put some liquor if they drank, or a little food, as if you were inviting them to dinner.

Light a candle on the altar and vocally invite your grandparents. Say you want to meet them if they have some time. Tell them the gifts are for them. Make it expressly clear that only your grandparents are invited. Sit quietly and see if anything happens. Regardless of what happens, say you will invite them again next week.

Try asking some questions or telling stories about your life and see what happens.

The first card: The top card, and like the following two, vertically upright. This card is to look at the truth of the situation from a point of view that isn’t coloured by emotion. It sheds more light on the situation.

The second card: One of the two cards in the middle of the spread, on the left. It shows you what you are doing to unconsciously encourage the problem in the situation.

The third card: The last card in the middle of the spread, on the right. This tells you the qualities and skills you already have in your possession that could overturn the obstacles you face.

The fourth card: The last card, laid at the bottom, the only card to lie horizontally. This card signifies the person you need to be, or the person you need to stop being. It’s really your choice to use it this way or that (and obviously not both at the same time for the sake of keeping things precise).
