► Go slow. It is a misnomer to say that energy work is just imagining or visualizing. You are working out psychic muscles. You do need to build up strength and endurance, even for simple activities.
► Do simple, non-fancy visualizations.
► Get your breathing on. Breathe in for 4 counts, hold for 4 counts, breathe out for 4 counts, hold for 4 counts. This breathing exercise is said to center a person whether they realize it or not.
► Keep in mind the point of centering. It is to align your energy body with your physical body. If you are already aligned, then there really isn’t much to change.
► Centering also makes you feel self-contained and down to earth. If this is already your natural state of being, then again, you won’t feel much of a difference.
► Unless you are feeling symptoms of your energy body being totally out of whack, just do a quick centering for a minute or two a day and move on.
